Raised on the edge of the Smoky Hills in western Kansas, now living on the edge of the Flint Hills in the east, the prairie landscape and the small towns that adorn it have always been a part of my life. After studying art then detouring into a career in customer service, I've embraced a love of creating that never really left me. I'm inspired by the natural and rural environment, and influenced by illustrators like Wanda Gág, Edward Gorey, and Tove Jansson.
